Formation flight Sunday. ES-3A Shadows. “Three U.S. Navy Lockheed ES-3A Shadows of fleet air reconnaissance squadron VQ-5 Sea Shadows pictured in flight over Southern California. The aircraft in the foreground is painted in colorful CAG markings and was assigned to Detachement 14, Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14), on board the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). The other pair of aircraft were assigned to Detachment 5, CVW-5, on board the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63).”
