This past weekend the Royal New Zealand Air Force celebrated its 75th anniversary with a major air show at their Ohakea base. Aircraft and servicepeople from five different air arms around the globe, as well as several vintage and warbird aircraft from within NZ, joined about 70,000 members of the public to wish the RNZAF a happy birthday. But the event was, to me and many other show-goers, far from perfect.
