Formation flight Sunday. “U.S. Navy Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) aircraft from the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) fly in formation above their carrier in the Persian Gulf during a deployment. The squadrons represented are: Fighter Squadron VF-11 Red Rippers and VF-31 Tomcatters flying the F-14D Tomcat; Anti-submarine Squadron VS-35 Blue Wolves flying the S-3B Viking; Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-113 Stingers, and VFA-25 Fist of the Fleet flying the F/A-18C(N) Hornet; Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron VAQ-139 Cougars in the EA-6B Prowler; Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron VAW-113 Black Eagles flying the E-2C Hawkeye; and Attack Squadron VA-196 Main Battery flying the Grumman A-6E Intruder.
