Type Otsu-1 Reconnaissance (Salmson 2A2) - 乙式一型偵察機: On October 22, 1939, starting from 7am, the 6th All Japan Student Aviation Athletic Competition took place in Osakaka's Dai 2 airfield. The event was sponsored by Asahi Shimbun with the participation of 87 athletes. Among the officials that attended was Prince Higashikuni (here) and the winner of the close circuit was Sugiyama Yoshihiko from Tokyo University.
