Yokosuka K5Y1 "Akatonbo" (Willow) - 九三式中間練習機:

A photo from an April 1944 magazine showing a Willow being pushed out of the hangar.
The setting and the uniforms suggest Japan mainland, most probably Kasumigaura Kokutai.
Note the most probably dark brown boots introduced in 1940 and the blue winter caps (the summer caps were white).
Overall color of the plane is trainer orange.

場所と軍服から、日本本土と思われます。霞ヶ浦航空隊かもしれない。
地上員の履いているブーツは、昭和１５年頃の黒茶のものか。
また、冬の青い帽子を（夏用の白い帽子ではない）被っている。
飛行機は練習機用の橙色。
